What started out as a just-for-fun extracurricular class in college, turned into a lifelong love of capturing people’s favorite memories for me. Most of my 15-year professional life has been spent capturing weddings, which makes sense because smiling people are my favorite subject. My style is more on the traditional side, but I enjoy capturing the meaning behind the moment. I love being able to spend the day getting to know what makes people smile because that’s what makes amazing expressions. For me there is nothing more amazing than spending the day, or an afternoon, with someone and taking the time to bring out their personality and get some amazing images with them. I enjoy the occasional landscape shoot here and there but I am always planning the best place to come back with someone and really complete the image.
